For unlimited use, MSet Application requires a license. The license is fixed to the name of a computer and to its owner. The license is valid for all suitable Bentley products within one computer. The number of MSet applications running simultaneously is unlimited.

All required data are written in the license file mset.lic, which is usually sent by email after purchasing the license. It is possible to enter the license from the MSet menu – Info > Entering License, whereby the license window is activated.

If there is no valid license, MSet will run in Trial mode. There are three restrictions in Trial mode:

·         Start delay of about 20 seconds,

·         Limited time of running - 15 minutes,

·         An Information dialog of the Trial mode is active.

All other functions of MSet during running of Trial mode are fully available.

Note: Licences issued for MSet 8.10, 8.20  and 8.3x are also valid for version 8.4x MSet.
